Come with us and step back through time as we venture to one of the regions most medieval and charming villages.
Nestled in the very heart of the Haut-Rhin, lies the beautiful medieval village of Eguisheim, mentioned as early as 720AD.
It is surrounded by 2 of the most famous Grand Cru vineyards in Alsace, Pfersigberg and Eichberg. This charming village is a wine lovers paradise.
Here you will find ancient cobbled streets, half timbered houses and a wine maker around almost every corner.
In this delightful village we will visit 3 boutique family owned wine houses and 2 that are centuries apart. One that dates from 1537 whilst the other was established in 1964.
These unique family owned wineries epitomise and reveal the range and depth of the wine making styles all within this one painfully beautiful medieval village.
Meet Colin, your wine tour expert, in either Strasbourg, Colmar or Basel, (Start times will vary depending on hotel collection point).
We will then begin our journey towards the exquisitely idyllic village of Eguisheim, nestled amongst the rolling Grand Cru vineyards of Eichberg and Pfersigberg.
You will then experience your first wine tasting of the day, tasting wines that will awaken your taste-buds
After the visit we will then travel back to either Strasbourg, Colmar or Basel where we will return you to your hotel.
