On this amazing tour, we can make that dream come true. Savour the incredible experience of walking amongst the vines with a glass of chilled wine in your hand whilst contemplating the medieval villages that pepper the unspoilt landscape.

We will travel to without doubt two of the most charming and bewitching villages in Alsace. There we will visit three exceptional wineries cradled in amongst some of the most coveted Grand Cru’ vineyards in Alsace. Here you can enjoy the many breath-taking, picturesque landscapes of this alluringly exquisite region.

The untouched, historic village of Riquewihr dates from the middle ages and lies in the shadow of the Schonenbourg Grand Cru, famous for producing many of the best Rieslings in the whole of the region.

Lined with traditional brightly painted ancient buildings, wandering through this village will reveal to you the real Alsace as it was hundreds of years ago.

Arrival at our first winery where you will taste many wines including the effervescent Crémant d’Alsace. Hear the fascinating story about the creation of this wine and why it is so special.

Our next winery will be within the walls of ancient Riquewihr. It is here that you will taste some exceptional wines from one of the regions most acclaimed wine dynasties.

We will then travel to a Grand Cru vineyard where you will be able to walk amongst the vines as you sip upon a chilled glass of wine from that very vineyard.

Our final winery visit of the day will be in Eguisheim, mentioned as early as 720AD. It is undoubtably one of the region’s most picturesque medieval villages.

Surrounded by two of the most famous vineyards in Alsace, namely the Pfersigberg and Eichberg Grand Cru’ this charming village is a veritable wine lovers paradise.

Swirl, sniff and sip Grand Cru wines from the famed Pfersigberg, and Eichberg vineyards.

We will then travel back to either Colmar or Basel where we will return you to your hotel.

Experience highlights: This tour begins at either 09:00 or 12:00 (Wednesday to Saturday)

If you choose to begin this tour at 09:00 we can arrange lunch at a small bistro in one of the charming villages.

If you decide to experience this tour from 12:00 (mid-day) we would advise that you either have a substantial breakfast or make arrangements to have a snack available during the course of this wine experience.
